Just over a year ago over a coffee in our favorite cafe we decided that it would be a great idea to get Andrea’s parents over for her 30th Birthday. We gave it some thought and both said “it would be the perfect time to get married haha”.

A few weeks later on Andrea’s Birthday I surprised her with a trip to Amsterdam. It’s been tradition for us to go away somewhere new on her Birthday but this trip was a little different. My present to her was not the trip but a new film camera. I sat her down on a cute little bench next to the water and gave her the camera to unwrap. She was very excited and asked if I have any film to put in it……what I gave her is in the picture above.

So we had a pretty awesome day, taking film pictures, being together and hatching a plan for a secret wedding.

It’s been a long year and sooo sooo hard to not tell anyone but two days ago on Saturday 6th June 2015 Andrea and I got married on a secret farm in Hertfordshire with just our immediate family and close friends. Most of which thought they were coming to a birthday party!

The day was magical, from the ceremony to the people to the camp fire and drinking games as well as our maid of honour (our camper Daisy).

Our good friends Ash and Jeremy Parsons captured our memories for us so before we can share their handy work in a few weeks time we thought we’d better come clean and let the world know WE GOT MARRIED!
