In December before Christmas we went to visit our good friends Maggie and Danny in Dusseldorf. We visited  a few years ago and fell in love with the city and Christmas markets. This time we managed to explore even more as we were kindly taken by our friends to Aachen, Monschau and Siegburg. We had the staple (and amazing) gluhwein, bratwurst, cheese pretzels, sugar coated almonds and hot chocolate with a shot or two ;-). We also made some new friends Sam and Jen who we are very much looking forward to catching up with when they move back to the UK.

Many of the images you see below were shot on film, I (Michael) decided to leave my DSLR at home and only take my Nikon FE 35mm film camera. Enjoy 🙂
